2 weeks old
Two weeks old and thriving. Eyes are 1/2 to 3/4 open, I expect Carmel, Sierra and Vallejo to have their eyes fully open tomorrow. Most of the pups gained approximately 3/4 lb this week, and weights range from 2 lb 5.8 oz (Ukiah) to 2 lb 11.5 oz (Gilroy). Most weigh around 2 1/2 lbs. Yoko is still able to keep everyone fed without supplimental bottle feeding. Just today, I bumped her up to 10 c of high calorie kibble per day + 1 hard boiled egg which she is happily consuming. Tonight, I gave the pups their first worming and last weekend they had their second nail trim. BioSensor exercises end tomorrow - yeah! Tomorrow I plan to introduce the pups to very small bite of canned food. The pups are increasingly more mobile, easily moving around the pen and even using the litter pan (random encounters or when purposely put in the pan).
